What does future® Rentals do?

future® Rentals is a UK-based technology equipment hire company. We supply, configure, deliver, and support a wide range of equipment for events, meetings, and temporary workspace projects, from a single laptop to full conference deployments covering hundreds of devices. Our job is to make sure the technology side of your event runs without a hitch, from the moment equipment leaves our warehouse to the moment it is collected after.

What types of events do you support?

We support a broad range of events and project types, including conferences, corporate summits, exhibitions, trade shows, live broadcasts, sports events, hybrid meetings, training workshops, and temporary workspace setups. What equipment do you offer?

Our hire range covers event technology, IT and laptop hire, presentation and display equipment, audio and communication solutions, and more. Within each category, we carry a wide selection of brands and specifications to suit different event sizes, formats, and technical requirements.

Is equipment tested before delivery?

Yes, without exception. Every item is tested and verified before it leaves our warehouse. For IT equipment, this means devices are powered on, checked for faults, and confirmed as fully functional. Pre-configured devices are also tested in their configured state to ensure software and settings are correct before dispatch. You should never arrive on-site to discover an equipment fault caused by inadequate pre-delivery checks.

How far in advance do I need to book?

We recommend booking as early as possible, particularly for large-scale projects, peak event periods, or bespoke configuration requirements. As a general guide, two to four weeks' notice is comfortable for most hires, though we regularly accommodate shorter notice bookings and can often turn around last-minute requirements with 24 to 48 hours' lead time. For anything urgent, contact us directly and we will do what we can.

How does collection work?

At the end of your hire period, we arrange collection at a time that suits your event schedule and venue access requirements. Collection is handled by our logistics team and is included as part of the hire agreement. You do not need to arrange return shipment. Simply ensure equipment is accessible at the agreed time and our team will take care of the rest.

Where do you operate?

We operate nationwide across the UK, delivering to venues, offices, exhibition centres, arenas, and temporary sites anywhere in the country. Whether you are based in London or organising an event in Edinburgh, Manchester, or Cardiff, our logistics team will ensure equipment reaches you on time and in the right condition.

What if something goes wrong on-site?

For events with on-site support included, our technician is present to handle any issues directly. For hire-only bookings, we operate a responsive support line during event hours and can arrange same-day replacement delivery in many cases. We take on-site reliability seriously and have contingency procedures in place for all project types. Please ensure our team has the full event schedule and venue contact details at the time of booking.

Can I hire a single item or a full package?

Both options are available. We are happy to supply a single device if that is all you need, and equally comfortable delivering and managing a complete multi-room event setup. There is no minimum order requirement, and we will tailor whatever we put together to your specific brief rather than fitting you into a pre-set package.

Do you provide pre-configured laptops?

Yes. If you need laptops loaded with specific software, locked-down profiles, or custom desktop environments, we can configure them to your requirements before delivery. This is particularly useful for training events, delegate workshops, and any scenario where setup time on-site needs to be minimised. Simply share your configuration brief with our team ahead of the booking and we will handle the rest.

Do you deliver and set up?

Yes. Our standard service includes delivery to your venue and, where required, full on-site setup and configuration. For larger events, we can provide dedicated technicians throughout the hire period to ensure everything runs smoothly and any issues are resolved immediately. Delivery and setup arrangements are confirmed during the booking process so you know exactly what to expect.

Can you deliver to any UK venue?

Yes. We deliver to venues, offices, exhibition centres, hotels, arenas, outdoor sites, and temporary structures anywhere across the UK mainland. For remote, unusual, or access-restricted venues, additional logistics planning may be required, but we will discuss any specific site considerations with you during the booking process. Delivery to Northern Ireland and the Scottish islands may require extended lead times.
